Artist's Description

On the return road from Bodie, Ca. Bodie was one of the most productive mining towns of the 1800s in the region. It is placed in the middle of a plain in the middle of the high desert in the Sierra Nevada's. This place is absolutely gorgeous and has some history for me. When going to the hotel ledger, left behind during the desertion of the town, I can find two different ancestors names in the ledger. Fun stuff.

About Ryan Huebel

Ryan Huebel

I am currently based in San Diego, California. Photography was my college major and my passion. Everywhere I walk I am constantly looking for a potential photograph. However, since I have worked behind the scenes in the production side of the world for several years I am currently burnt out on the portrait side of things. I love the outdoors and the beauty of the natural world. Whenever it is feasibly possible, I am out in the world exploring areas away from society; whether its abandoned locations or the beauty of the world around us.
