Artist's Description

Taken on Highway 1 above Big Sur, California. Summer was coming to an end and the colder weather of fall had just started to kill off the lilies. Luckily I got there just in time to have a mixture of both. I like the metaphor of hanging onto life; so it worked for the image I was going for.

About Ryan Huebel

Ryan Huebel

I am currently based in San Diego, California. Photography was my college major and my passion. Everywhere I walk I am constantly looking for a potential photograph. However, since I have worked behind the scenes in the production side of the world for several years I am currently burnt out on the portrait side of things. I love the outdoors and the beauty of the natural world. Whenever it is feasibly possible, I am out in the world exploring areas away from society; whether its abandoned locations or the beauty of the world around us.
